Can you help solve this Pass-a-Grille mystery for Mary Ann Strasheim?
Here is her information......
"We have a mystery and I hope someone will read this and let us know what happened. 55 years ago next month my Grandmother, Marie Neville, gave a clock and barometer to the PAG yacht club in memory of my Grandfather, Keith Neville. This copy of the March 1963 newsletter describes the gift. It was hung over the doorway into the bar and every year when we visited, we would go to the club and see the clock. After my grandmother died in 1980 and the house was later sold we did not visit the area until 1994 when we had a Neville Family reunion at the Don CeSar. We spend time in PAG and visited the yacht club. The clock was gone, but they were in the midst of remodeling and we were told it would go back up. In 2008 we were back in Florida for my Aunt Irene Bystrom's 90th birthday which was held in Holmes Beach as she had moved there to be near her son, Dr. Bill Bystrom. We took a day trip to PAG to visit the Beaches Historical Museum and the Yacht Club to see the clock. It was not there and NO ONE knew what we were talking about when we asked about it. Does any of the members of this fabulous Facebook page know anything about it? We would love to know where it is and hopefully it will return to the yacht club!"
