  • As a child my grandfather Arne Olaf Grinaker took me fishing at the last pier on the inside. During the early 60’s. The pass-a-grille hotel was still there as well as Hubbard’s pier. We got there by way of the Pasadena causway and got shrimp after driving over the old bridge. The bridge had a wood base and would go thump thump as you drove over it.
